Sometimes it's nice to have friends who don't take no for an answer. Friends who scoff at the response you send in regards to their suggestion of a last minute weekend dinner date. "Too busy" we say. (We're always too busy) Which is why it's great when someone says, well, let's do it anyway. We'll be over at 7.
Helps remind you of just how nice it is to slow down and soak up a Saturday night, turn off the power tools, set down the projects, and enjoy a warm fire, cold drinks and a cheap pizza.
